Unless they are totally mindless questions I enjoy them too. It helps to lighten up the mood here.

I'm a Christian as well and I also teach VBS and sometimes fill-in for Sunday School; attend Bible Studies too. I don't think that there are any silly questions (seemingly serious ones anyway) in any subject. Some people (mostly of other religions) have no idea who God is or what the scriptures mean. Some even learn and become Christians. My opinion only.

Honestly Lee K, how dare you use the symbol of a christian organization like The Salvation Army using language like that!
I won't get upset at silly questions as we learn from asking questions. I do get upset when the same question is repetitively asked and it's obvious that the resources given haven't been checked at all. I do get upset when the question is blatantly meant to be demeaning and insulting. There are other times I may get upset, but the aforementioned instances have to be the worst. If an intelligent and honest question is asked then there is nothing about which to get upset.

religion (or lack of) is something people keep near and dear to their hearts. It's like putting a bunch of parents in a room and giving them the mission of explaining to all the other parents why their kid is better then theirs.
I try not to let it get to me. I leave the really ridiculous ones alone, and i try to answer the ones were i feel i can actually make some sort of positive impact.
My parents randomly gave me some good advice actually when i was moaning of my woes, my dad said "why would i care whether they convert or not, more room in heaven for me. gona be awfully crowded in hell *weird dad laugh*" (of course not bothering to look up from his computer)
my mom on the other hand said "if its not fun, dont do it ^_^ that's the point, isn't it?" aw mom, such sweet simple advice.

Because alot of them are questions that are asked over and over, and are totally ludicrous. Also, many times they are meant to be insulting as well.
Example:
"Can God create a rock he cannot lift?"
This is a moronic question, has been asked a thousand times, and is basically a question meant to mock God and Christianity. I see no humor in it. It's a waste of my time to have to read one word of such garbage.
Oh well, just my thoughts.

At least the malicious reporting seems to have died down. I often ask silly questions just to give people a break from the way to serious crap.

Why do you think people are getting upset? They're getting annoyed. That's different.
And it's only questions that take very little brainpower to answer and you should already know the answer to.

If it wasn't for the silly questions, I think people would reach through their computer screens and strangle each other on here

Well, I don't get terribly upset, but the format of YA is supposed to be honest questions and honest answers. Even if they have a debate-like tone.

because they prefer chinese foodstuff, chinese vehicles, slanted sex organs and opt to be able to sing their nationwide anthem even as they salute the China Mainland flag! Any questions about it truly is seen Occidental dumbness and obstructive.
