Whatever is appropriate for the wedding in question, for example if it was a relaxed event I would wear a pretty/feminine dress. If it is more formal then I would wear an evening dress, probably in black with formal jewellery.

if its a formal wedding then formal wear..think prom but not so much formal

a very formal elegant dress; if it is someone who is really close to me or a relative i wear along one; otherwise; a simple short or knee length dress will be great and definitely with high heels:)
