Most of us have heard of Dolly, the sheep, who was cloned from an adult sheep in 1996. Now if we were ever to clone humans...do you think they will have a soul and be able to have an afterlife once they die?

Well Dolly was the last of many attempts you should have seen all the other messed up sheep before her and she even died real soon. Mankind has a body, a soul and a spirit. Clones for sure have a body. And they have a will which is the soul. But do they have a spirit?. The soul is mans intelect and his desires. Sure they have that. But then again we are starting with Gods creative material and just copying it are we not. The spirit is what makes men different then all other creatures. Humans have a spirit. Do two people have the same spirit no not even twins. A clone might have all the trates of the original DNA donor but would be a diferent creation. Just as twins are different people.

clones would be souls as dolly the sheep was a soul because a soul is the person or animal not a separate part but the whole organism

Well, the Bible says the soul is the blood, so do clones have blood. In a way Christ was a clone, in that he was genetically equal to the man who brought sin into the world, Adam. Even Eve was a clone, having been grown from Adam's rip, minus the X chromosome.

No a clone will never have a soul.

A clone will always be a mentally retarded one.

If a human would be made by clone, he would be the most funniest animal in the world.

hehe, maybe they do, but depending on which person died first only one would get in. For example if I had a clone who died, and he went to St.Peter and was like "Yeah, My name is Genius I should be on the list" and they would let him in. Then I would die and be like "Yeah I'm Genius, I was promised a place here" and he would be like "Nice try buddy, Genius already checked in. Down you go"

Well with curent cloning all they are doing is taking and changing the DNA of something thats already alive so it grows up with the same DNA as something else........

They arn't CREATING life... just changing it so it develops pysicaly like something diffrent

I think that's part of the issue here. I don't know. We need to stop playing God with genetics and leave it alone.
