Something personal that you've thought about. As Mom to 2 boys (ages 20 and 23), I know it can be hard for you kids. Usually a gift of your undivided attention (dinner, etc.) makes a Mom smile. No gift cards--YOU are the one she wants to see, not the dinner! Or maybe you could cook the family dinner (and clean the kitchen!) one night. Something like that would be nice!

A date with you, she will love it! Or an offer to wash her car, mow the lawn or take her grocery shopping. Moms love to spend time with their children.
