Ways to be romantic without spending?

Hi I've been with my lady for a while now and sometimes things get a bit mundane- ie going to work, coming home, sleeping! We don't have much money so we can't afford to spend our nights at the cinema or eating out etc. I just wondered what cheap/free ideas you guys have as to how to make our lives more interesting?

there is many places that you can turn them to your romantic memoir palces... any where that you 2 feel comfortable.may be a kiss in the lakeside or the highest place in your town that you can see all the city. or beach ... remember you can make any place a romantic place. even with no mony.(only with your heart)

Go to your local Dollar store and buy a bunch of little candles, they are two for a buck. You can light a bunch of candles all over the house and turn the lights off. You can go outside or to a cheap store and buy some old roses, they sell them cheap and go home and spread the rose buds all over the bed. You can make a nice bath for her, so she can relax. You can make her dinner by candle light. All these candles you can get at discount stores really cheap. You can bring her breakfast in bed. You can give her a back massage or a foot rub, i love the foot rubs. You can write her a love letter, doesn't have to on any fancy stationary. She will love that letter more than anything. You could try reclining outside at night with some wine or hot chocolate or cidar which ever you prefer, and looking at stars or just talking about light hearted things. You can also do something everyone likes, you start by flipping a coin to see who starts and then you make up a story about anything but usually fantasy or whatever pops into your head and after 30 seconds you switch and the other person has to take up where you left off and so on.

For every year/month you've been together, write a quality about her that you admire and explain why. Take her back to the place of a memorable date and recreate it. Have her come home to a nice dinner, low lights and ask her to dance. All of these things are free and completely romantic. Money does NOT equal romance. Good luck!

Hand-picked flowers even jus a single one. Candlelit dinner - very simple meal especially something you both love. A good bottle of her fav wine and romantic music in the background. And don't forget to jus gaze into her beautiful eyes, and tell her how you feel and how special she is. That should work like a charm. Can we have feedback on how this goes Sir?

just spend the night in at your place play some romantic music or music you both like and cook her a nice dinner(you may have to spend money there) or take her out for a walk in the park or at the beach under the moon light

well, my bf and i do a lot of stuff together that costs nothing or very little! you two can cook up a meal together-that is what my bf and i do-also, do walks in the parks on the trails, have a picnic in the parc, surprise her with a bouquet of flowers or something small and simple! my bf surprised me with a pic of the two of us and it was the best gift ever! also, if you have digital pics and the software to make DVD's and such you can make a "book" with various chapters, and add music! also, why dont you surprise her once in a while with a CD that you made of both of your fave songs while you enjoy dinner that you cooked! my bf and i also go to McDonald's and get something off the Dollar Menu and go to his or my place and pop in a DVD and watch it!also, ride your bikes in the weekends or do something that you usually do not do , on the weekends cook a nice breakfast of eggs, bacon and toast and some orange juice! see, you do not have to spend a lot to do a lot of things!also, check the newspapers for adds for free admission for operra or symphony or concert !

Go for long walks or on beaches and do lot of romantic talking. Keep praising beauty of your lady, as you know that is the best thing girls like,,,,, (to hear praising at any age,,,,,,,,lol),

The best way to romance a lady is to show her u never forgot teh first time u met her . Take her to the same exact spot u met her, it will rekindle all of the initial feelings and memories that you 2 experienced towards each other. That will rekindle the old flames of love again

My boyfriend and i had similar problem so we started up a little tournament to assess who was better, men or women. It started off as an afternoon in the amusements arcade but quickly escalated in to a number of events.... crazy golf, bowling, bingo, Computer games, swimming, board games, card games, strip card games....

These things don't really cost that much and you spread them out over weeks not days and you can have a great time trying to beat each other, still spending quality time together!

We're both quite competitive people but not in the sense that we argue, just have lots of fun trying to win and still take the mick out of the loser! (One of the new rules he's added is the loser owes the winner a sexual treat...)
