im 16 and i need to grow taller...im 5 foot 4 inches and i need 2 get to 5 foot 7 inches..i am thinking of taking calsium pills 2 help me get taller..will it work? plz help...

No it will not make you taller, but as you grow older, it will keep you from getting shorter-- as you age the discs between your vertebra tend to shrink and your spine starts curving because of the disc shrinkage-- calcium will keep this aging process from progressing. At 16 I wouldn't worry- guys keep growing until they are 21 and if you really want to know how much more growth you have left- go to your doctor and he can order a bone xray that will check your growth plates and let you know if you are done growing.

I had a friend who was 5' 5" at 16 and 6" by the time he was 18.

But you know...even if you didn't grow another inch, you can't get hung up on how tall you are. Height does not make a man. That happens on the inside, not the outside.

Calcium does not affect growth. Your body will continue to grow until you're almost 20. Don't worry. Besides that, body height is a matter of genetics.

no they just help ur bones not make u taller. ur just 16 u could grow more anyway. and why 5 7.

for sure - sit down there and permit your physique enhance. there is not any longer something you are able to truly do, could be some style of meds obtainable a doctor could prescribe, yet all in all there is not any longer something you're able to do yet wait

Other than hormonal therapy by the doctor, there is little that can be done. You can get heels attached to heavy-bottomed boots.
