If your kittens are still using mom to feed, and this is working well for the kittens as evidenced by healthy growth and development, then they should continue for around 7-12 weeks. Wet food can be used if need be without mom and/or if needed - check with your vet if you suspect any health issuesthough. A $30-$40 vet check is always worth a an animals life....Enjoy the kittens and be a good parent !

Kittens should be ready to start weaning at 4-5 weeks.I found the best way was to mix dried kitten food with a little warm water to soften.then offer the kitten it on a spoon, gradually lower the spoon to the dish and they will soon get the hang of it...My kittens are now 7 weeks and although they still have comfort feeds from mum they love there food!

If you have the mother cat, then she will let you know as she will stop feeding the kittens milk.

At about 5-6 weeks, introduce them to wet food, but they will most likely play in it for the first few days before they get the hang of it!

Once they realise Mum isn't feeding them anymore, they'll wean pretty quick!

I will start offering them wet food softened with milk at 3-4 weeks, whenever they start toddling around. When I do this, I also add a minute amount of Missing Link for Cats to the mix and have had excellent results.

They need to be weaned.... This usually is around week 8 or week 9, but it really depends on the kitten. Could be less, could be more.

I think Kittens need like, 3 months to finish breast feeding thoroughly.

They need to be 8 weeks old. Cats (and dogs) don't stop nursing until after two months, so keep them on breast milk.
