Did he die? God didn't say when he would die, just that he would,, which, in fact happened, 930 years later. The Serpent told him he wouldn't die, which, as it turned out, was a lie.

You're getting you're deaths all mixed up here. The eating of the Apple caused Adam and Eve to become mortal. Die spiritually. (Same thing happened to the Earth.) The serpent tricked Eve into thinking God meant physical death. (Another thing is that the serpent told Eve that she would become as God "knowing good from evil". However, we all know the difference between good and evil and we're about as far from God as you can get.)

Good question, and you've already received good answers. To confirm what has already been stated: The problem is with our understanding of time in the Bible. Your assumption is that God's statement "IN the day" (not ON the day) only refers to a 24-hour period. But that is in error. In 1 Peter 3, we read that to God "A day is like a 1,000 years, and a 1,000 years like a day." (Remember, God exists in eternity, which is outside of time.) That is an important key to understanding Biblical prophecy throughout the rest of the Bible.
Regarding Adam and Eve, if he hadn't rebelled, he would have lived forever, for death never would have been introduced into the human system, and the tree of Life would have given him eternal life (see Gen. 3). As it is, when he did rebel, he died a two-fold death: an immediate spiritual death, and a gradual natural death, which, "coincidentally," lasted just under 1,000 years. No man after him lived more than 969 years; in fact, as death and decay began to dominate the human network, man's life span began to shorten throughout the Bible.
So God did not lie, as you've been shown, and the serpent did.

God's day is 1,000 years. Adam did die that day. More importantly, he immediately died spiritually in that he no longer had God's favor and blessings. Satan (posing as a serpent) is still telling the same lie he told then--only now he has to modify the lie to say your soul doesn't die and it is invisible because Adam and Eve are no where to be found!!!

Wrong! Adam and Eve never had to die at all. Because of their sin there was now a time limit on how long the would live. Satan knew this as well and he told them they would not die because he knew that it would not be immediate.

God did not tell a lie.Adam and Eve was instructed that they should avoid come nearing to the tree and they were not allowed to take its fruits..But Adam and Eve did not comply with God's instruction and prohibition so they were dropped from heaven into this earth.

"Adam didn’t die the day God said he would!"
He certainly did. He died spiritually. The moment he sinned, he became "dead in trespasses and sins" (Ephesians 2:1). Ezekiel 18:4 says, "The soul that sins, it shall die." It is because we are born spiritually dead that Jesus came to give us spiritual life (John 5:40; 10:10; 14:6; etc.). This is why Jesus told us that we must be born again (John 3:3). When we repent of our sins and believe in Jesus Christ, the Bible tells us that we "pass from death to life" (John 5:24; Romans 6:13; 1 John 3:14). "We are born dead in trespasses and sins, alienated, cut off, detached from the life of God. The day that man believed the devil’s lie (which is sin), he forfeited the life that distinguished him from the animal kingdom—the life of God. When sin came in, the life went out." Ian Thomas

I believe God was saying that he would die in spirit and that his life would be cut short. 930 years seems like a long time to us, but its simply a blink of an eye for God.

You are confused because you do not know the meaning to death given by God.
Death means separation. The moment they ate the forbidden fruit the glory of God departed from them. They got separated from God.
