Great answers huh? Anyway...God exists because he has proven Himself all throughout history. And it is really up to you to believe and searchit out. Nothing that I can say will convince you. In my own life i have experienced living how I want to along with living ac cording to the Bible and Gods plan. By far Gods plan has been the best and most fulfilling. Sensible and logical I dont know about but if you test Him and honestly believe He will nake himself real Im positive He will. Seek and ye shall find...

Sense and logic revolve around things we understand and can explain. If there is some kind of higher being or force, then it will defy all logic as the very concept of it is illogical. God is a personal thing that we use to explain things we don't fully understand, like why things major or minor happen in our life. It is a human tendency to blame or rely on someone or something when things either happen or we want them to happen, yet we can not fully explain or control them. Therefore you're belief in god is all dependent on your world view, how you deal with various situations in your life and how you get comfort in situations beyond your control. So yes, faith is very much part of the belief as faith means we have confidence that something/someone we can not control or explain has some sort of control over our lives and destinies.

You have a free choice to believe or not to believe, but be ready to face the consequences. What if all these people are right? What if after you die you will face God who will say: you refused to know Me, I refuse to know you, and will send you away to suffer in darkness, eternally?

What if after you start believing you will know that God loves you and will take care of you no matter what?

I really don't know how to give you sensible reasons to believe, sorry. You have to want to believe in order to be open to them.

The fact that you are asking this question shows a desire in urself to have some sort of spirituality. Even when cultures develope separately, religious customs and beliefs are always present. it is undeniable that humans yearn for spiritual meaning. This yearning you have discovered in urself. If you wish, you can chose to ignore it, but that wont change the fact that its there, and it wont make the question you just asked stop repeating itself in your head. Or you could chose to put ur belief in something. Its really your choice and a personal one. Good luck, hope this answers your question, although I really think you should be questioning your own heart to find out what it is that you truly want.

That is the thing, you don't have to! i personally do believe in G-d, not for foolish reasons like "I'll go to hell if I don't" and so on. I choose to because I have the free will to do so and I just feel it inside of me. If someone doesn't have it, it's OK as well. We are free to not worship or to do so. In my opinion, G-d is the Universe that one is to become one with in Buddhism or even the Tao or "Way" in Chinese philosophy (ie. The eternal way) My belief is that G-d is not tangible or material like a noun but like a verb . (Yes, maybe I am crazy)

There is no more sensible or logical reasons to believe in God than to believe in the flying spaghetti monster.

If you don't want to consider hell, they consider the universe. It is so exquisite it is beyond me why anyone would reject the idea of a Divine Creator. Just as an aside try studying math as a hobby. It is absolutely beautiful.

I was praying for my father who had a stroke in a coma for 9 days, lung infection. erratic. had to have a machine making him breath. Doctor said not hope to my mother. I heard a voice while praying, go rub his feet I got up. five hours on the floor? it couldn't have been 3 minutes, I rubbed his feet he opened his eyes and out of the hospital in 3 days and lived well for 11 more years, when my grandmother had cancer and was at the nursing home. mother was reading to her from the bible she suddenly smiled wide. eyes got bright, raised her hands and cried Jesus and passed on. when my parents bought a new car mother went over to Becky's her friend to drive her around in her car, she came back . God saved my life on the way to Becky's, I tried to get in the middle lane and there was a hand on the wheel , I tried again and this hand held that wheel straight, then a transfer truck went by in that lane going fifty. I was in Alabama , by back hurt bad, went to hospital. x rays, Doctor came to the door, you have a tumor on your kidney the size of my fist, I gave it to God and went back to sleep, the oncologist x rayed two days later it was gone.theres a few more. but I will stop now.I believe . my parents believed. very much in God. thru faith. faith opens you to the power of the Spirit of God.It will work thru you if you wont it.Its simple. have faith and love. If you dont wont it thats up to you..I wish you the best on your spiritual journey
