I buy a product called Static Guard. You can use it on your hair and your clothes. It comes in an aerosol can and you can buy it at Wal-Mart or some of your local grocery stores. It is usually in the laundry detergent aisle.

Try this! Buy a can of Static Guard. Every time you take out your comb or brush to fix your hair spray a small amount of Static Guard on the comb or brush and than use it on your hair. You don't need much and very likely one or two shots of this stuff in your hair will do the trick.
Not a joke it really works. I do this in the winter months because I have the same problem with my hair.

Hi! Use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner and then spray a little "Static Guard" on your brush or right on your hair and it really helps. Some people use a dryer sheet, but it sometimes weighs hair down. I just heard that Pantene makes a "winterizing" shampoo and conditioner to combat the static of winter dry hair. Good luck!

interesting, a slight spray of hair spray, the flexible kind will work wonders, no need to style your hair...just hold can about 12 inches...spray about 3 seconds, and use hands to crunch through, it will stop the chain reaction of the static....
