some of the philosphy that your religion teaches you?

What kind of messages can you draw from it concerning your fellow human being, nature, etc?

My neighbor is human, just like me.
I treat others with respect... and I call them on it if they don't return the courtesy.
I don't believe what others say, unless they can prove what they say.

Never trust anyone who wants a donation.

I come from Buddhist background. We believe that we should treat all beings with respect not only human. Also we believe in karma, so do what is good and it will return to you also, and vice versa. Hope this can make you understand a little part of Buddhism.

I am supposed to love my fellow humans as much as I love myself, and act on it.

Nature is a gift from God, so we shouldn't thrash it, but cherish it, and take whatever we need with moderation and thankfulness, not for profit. Technology and industry are OK, but should be used in this spirit, not in the spirit of destruction and exploitation for the sake of profit.

But most of all, we should love and worship God above anything else, because He is the Creator, He loves us and He wants us in communion with Him.

don't be afraid of tough love: it can be just as wrong to let soemone sin by hurtng u, as it is to refuse help to one who needs it.
having a joyful heart is the best feeling in the world, and cheering others up is the best way to get one.
