should catholic and orthodox religions merge?

Technically both "faiths" are the same. They both love Jesus and they both consider one another as Christians.

no, it wouldn't make any difference.

and they won't merge, b/c both pope and orthodox leader like to be the Top Guy.

It is a consummation devoutly to be wished. I wish they would. At least I hope they develop a closer relationship in the near future.
