well, what about your loved ones, don't you think about them? Don't you wonder if they will be joining you or not, and if they don't aren't you sad because they didn't make it to heaven? How could you be at peace and be happy if your loved ones aren't with you?

Surfer was pretty accurate in what was said. It has been said in the Bible that the dead in Christ shall rise. So that is telling you that we will be in a place of rest. When Jesus comes back those in Christ will rise and the other will be changed in a moment and a twinkling of an eye. These will go into heaven. Then there are the ones who are left for a time where there will be know power from God. You will just have to live by faith until the time of Judgment.

Peace for one is peace for all.

The belief that one may go to heaven, but possibly not their son, daughter, cousin...this causes a sort of spiritual stress, deep down, where it is unnoticed by the conscious mind. That is why they do not question their beliefs...because eventually, they would have to come to terms with what you see clearly...that it can't be that way.

One in heaven, watching, or just knowing, a loved one is in hell, how could that one in heaven maintain their love for God? Resentment would sooner or later come in, and "heaven" would become hell for that one.

All of your "loved ones" will eventually make it to heaven, so you have nothing to fret about there. For some, it takes longer (depending on how they live their lives) but they will all eventually arrive. In heaven there is no concept of time. A "year" is like the blink of an eye.

I don't know about other religions, but I tell you about Islam. Being in heaven is the utmost reward. You will be young, good looking, healthy, happy as you will never be and content. One of God's mercies is that you will not know your loved ones who are not with you. In other words, you will forget they existed; hence you will not be sad. It makes sense, since we cannot guarantee that our loved ones will be in heaven too. What else can be done for you in order not to be sad? God is so pleased with the ones in heaven (otherwise they wont be there) He does not want them to taste unhappiness again, so He makes them forget life on earth all together.

At resurrection day,Allah will select all of us into heaven and into hell.Someone who has many good doings will be included into heaven but someone who has many bad doings will be brought into hell.At that time no one can help us to each other. We can not
be helped by others. We should help ourselves..We will be happy and at peace in heaven. We drink and eat what we like without hard effort. We will be served by beautiful and young angels. You can not help your loved ones if he/she has many wrong doings,he
/she will be brought into hell and will be punished.Everyone is responsible for his/her own doings. If you want to be in heaven you must take a right path and obey all Allah 's instructions and prohibitions along your life in this uneternal world

If you are not a muslim, you are going to go to hell, whatever good job you do, and spend your time with great Christian, Buddhist and Hindu men and women from the history...

I am currently trying to get a KFC and McDonald's dealership for hell, because I guess there would be a lot of rush and crowd.

God made the earth for man and man for the earth. "The meek will inherit the earth and live forever upon it." The resurrection will bring back loved ones that have died. Do not be discouraged.
