I think Religion. I am not an atheias, but I do believe that Religion was created to over power and control mankind. Think about it...The wars, The failing marriages, The close minds..all because of Religion. Everything you do to praise God but it's not working.

I agree. It is religion. More people have been died in the name of religion than from any natural cause.
Of course, many of those people would still be just as closed-minded without religion. The convenient thing about religion is that it can be arranged to suit your particular prejudices.

Religion has been an evolution over time. It has changed its name and the various types of religion have changed. Most of the wars have been in the name of one religious group trying to impose their view on another. In 3500 years there have only been 230 years of peace.
This question does make a good point. The current terrorist threat is about Islamic groups wishing to kill anyone that is not of their belief. This circle of hate is dangerous and seems to never end.
That being said. The majority of people who believe in God do not want war. They only want to raise their kids, educate their kids and live well.

Religion is not a weapon so the answer to your question is wrong. Sure cars kill people, create misery, traffic, and harm the environment, but are cars weapons? No, and neither is religion.
