Because if he had not continued to trust her he would not have been thrown into the jail where he found his faith, and his strength through faith was stronger than before, and he would not have been able to knock down the Pillars of the Temple. Delilah had a purpose she fulfilled it, and it helped Samson fulfill his. Everything works out for the goodness of God.
