NO!!!!!, of course no, because of the popularity of hol'dem the past few years that what they show. But actually you would find more pros play: 7 card stud hi or hi/lo, omaha hi/lo, razz.....the game of HORSE (holdem, omaha hi,razz,7 card stud hi, stud 8 or better). A poker pro is able to play different type of poker.

I play poker for a living, and i play all those game.

take care

Watch more of the WSOP on ESPN. There are over 20 different events at the WSOP and some of the games are not Texas Hold'em.

Texas Hold'em is a much faster game and makes for better Television.

You can stll find Stud games at most major card rooms (and a few non-hold'em tournaments).

In major tournaments there are professional dealers at every table, so players don't deal cards them-self this means no bottom o second deal no zarrow shuffle, this can happen if you play in a pub or in a home game, so there listen carefully sounds makes cards when are dealt or shuffled by someone who use a mechanic grip, if you hear louder or more acute sounds than normal be suspicious, and ask for a cutting card on the bottom of the deck. P.S. in poker every hand cards are shuffled so counting cards means just calculating odds and is something that everybody is able to do in a poker tournament, it's black jack where counting cards in 6 or 8 decks gives you edge on the house.

The most televised version of poker is no limit Texas Hold 'em because of the high stakes involved and accessability for a tv audience but most pros are proficient at at least 2 or 3 other types like Omaha or 7 card stud etc. There are big side games in Las Vegas where pros can make more money than in tournaments but for reasons of exposure and the lure of Hollywood and the possibility of endorsements/ side business ventures the programs like WPT and PPT have skyrocketed in popularity and thus the popularity of Texas Hold 'em itself.

Since you asked about "ALL" majors the answer is no,but most are because it's easier to follow and with all in betting it seems "FASTER", as for "PRO" players the smart ones go where the fish are ,and thats in the side games at the WSOP because when they bust out the "FISH" keep swimming uphill to prove something after they lost their $40 internet seat -LOL

Get the game WSOP on X-box. They play stud, razz, etc. on it too.

I'm sure there's alot of pros that play the others. I think they tend to televise no limit texas holdem because it's more exciting. You know, the all in bet, etc.
