When would you ask a girl to iron his clothes (with the word 'please', of course)? Or rather, whom you would trust your clothes with? If a guy were to agree to cook for you in return of you ironing his clothes, is he merely flirting?

If he is merely flirting, how do I respond to that? I don't want to do the ironing...

I would think he is flirting. I wouldn't ask a random female friend to iron my clothes. By him agreeing to cook dinner in return, he just made a date with you without actually making a date. It's a loophole in the dating system, and if you like him, I think you should go along with it!

If he offered to cook for you that sounds like he wants to have you visit HIS place.
I don't know what to make of the ironing. Perhaps that was just his way of getting you to agree to dine with him....

He wants housekeeping services - that's not flirting. "Please" is common courtesy. Most dry cleaners launder and press shirts for $1.00 each.
