Not really its a way to keep people who sneak in , out. Why would we want illegals here ? To not pay taxes, to add to the crime we have now, too add to the already over populated areas? Tell me what positive thing comes out of it at all for the country? Use your brain or common sense if you have either lol, its a known problem.

If the illegals are gone then the Yanks can start rounding up the homeless and uneducated and give them jobs appropriate to them. Educated Americans need not worry...
What about girlfriends? Is this even important?
Unemployment benefits? If the Yanks put the useless bums to work there wont be need for this.
Welfare is an unnecessary invention that should be removed to begin with.
Why are you so concerned about America? How about the countries where the illegals come from? Dont you care about them?

No. Wanting to get rid of illegals is just a symptom of very unhappy people. The very rich (supported by a Republican Congress and its puppet president) have been taking so much from - and destroying - the middle class, that the middle class has had to find someone to BLAME.
The Right wing radio talk show stars (who receive talking points from Karl Rove every morning) have been programming Americans to believe their problems are caused by illegal aliens. Meanwhile, the country is being plundered by their political leaders.
And so the uneducated (and many educated, but not too perceptive) have bought the stories fed to them by the Republican Party and their Talk Radio pals.
They really believe that if the US gets rid of illegals ALL OUR PROBLEMS WILL BE SOLVED. This is, of course, totally irrational; but this is what most Americans actually believe because Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and even Dick Cheney (who may soon be quitting his current job as VP) have told them so.

No, they could also pay attention in life and not be so uneducated. I don't think if they were that dumb, they would have girlfriends worth keeping anyway. I think the whole thing is just a ploy for our uneducated president to pull our attention away from the crap going on over seas. But, I do know that a lot of fruit went rotten on the vines in Cali because of this crap. So, next time you are paying out the butt for veggies and fruit remember how much you hate them immigrants. They are the people doing the jobs most Americans are too proud to do, so I say open the flood gates and lower our damn produce prices. These are also the people that work in our meat plants, that is a whole other monster though.

It's this kind of attitude that has led to the backlash many feel toward illegals or immigrants from mexico in general. It is not only the "uneducated" Americans who feel negatively. It is many who see other immigrants including ones with higher levels skills we desperately need here (for instance nurses) turned away. I personally have no problem with immigration but I support legal immigration and allowing people with higher level skill sets in the country first.

uneducated Amercans wouldnt need welfare if illegal immigrants hadnt lowered the wages to minimum wage. This generation of Kids could find jobs and make enough money to live on if the illegals werent taking the jobs.

Darned tootin right! Why Whenever I think of it it just steams me right up. Ifn it weren't for them darned illegals I coulda got me a job as a lawn mower right outa middle school! But no, instead I had to learn to be a Meff-Am-Feta-Mine cooker, and then the police done repoed my daddy's trailer!

Who's going to pick your lettuce and oranges? I don't see any Americans doing it! Illegals take the jobs that nobody else wants. You have to be pretty stupid to lose your job to someone who doesn't speak English. Your interview had to be worse than theirs. If you can't get a job in this country there is something wrong with you not the illegals.
