thats not what they said.the saying is an apple dont fall very far from the tree.it means u have some basic behavioural traits that runs thru a family.

LOL, it's not that they don't fall from the same tree. In a "FAMILY" tree, the family all is from the same apple tree. BUT, they say that apples do not fall far from the tree. So basically, if a family has a wacky tree full of wacky apples, most likely the baby apples are going to be wacky too and not fall "far" from the tree! :)
