The draft is a good thing. If our country needs soldiers then damnit you should serve when called upon. ITS LOYALTY. If you don't like it, then get the hell out and move to pakistan.
Women always biiitch about being equal if not better then men. If thats so true then they should be drafted as well.

First of all, let me start off by saying, I do NOT see a draft in the near future as long as people are enlisting as much as they are now...
Women entering... what is wrong with that... People always bring up that we will be raped and sodomized, etc.... but so can the men... There are many great female soldiers as there are men, and being female has nothing to do with the way we fight and protect and stand up for our country.
For the guy who posted about running away from the draft, I think that you are just a very scared person and have no respect for our country whatsoever. Of course people are going to be scared if there is a draft and they are going in involuntarily, but to protect our country and keep the war over on their land instead of ours is better and people need to realize that.
I am not against the draft if that is what it takes to keep us safe, and I am definately not against females serving.

What do you mean what are our feelings about the draft. Are you referring to a particular draft, or just the drafting of military in general. You see we do not draft and have not done so in over 30 years. We are a completely voluntary military and there will most likely never be a draft again in this country. If you're talking about selective service registration women are not required to do so for a variety of reasons...mostly because if children are involved someone has to stay home and take care of them.

To those whom answered already here...."can you imagine American female soldiers been 'raped-tortured-sodomized-ridiculed' by the enemy? if you do think that would be ok, then; I must say, "you are more sick then the enemy", me,I cannot.
It would affect the way I would perform as a soldier knowing this is happening to any enlisted female comrade.
I agree women must have, and do deserve equal rights.
However to my knowledge; no war was ever started by women,
so lets cut this **** out about they to should be there in the front also.

Women should have to register too. I tried to register when I was 18 and the Post Office threatened to have me arrested so I backed down.

Women should have to register...same as guys.
Why should they have equal pay for equal work and equal opportunities but no equal risks?
Note: I did ten years U.S.C.G. I have had female COMMUNICATIONS OFFICERS...I was a Radioman.
And stood watches with female COASTIES.
Never had issues serving with female.
Combat MOS ...ie Army etc...that is a different issue and will require thought on the part of the military.

The draft is silly. I will not go if drafted. They cannot kill you or torture you if you say no, so I won't go. I don't believe there is a good enough reason to be there in the first place. The only reason why we are there is because of a corrupt cowardly government.

Don't care either way, I did my 20.5 and retired. If they have one tho, the women's libbers better be drafted with the men, or they need to give up all their "rights" and go back to barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen.

No and never. Woman shouldn't enroll. You can say it's women right to serve in arm forces, but as a woman I dare not to think if i'm captured by cruel enemy soldier.

I have no adverse feelings about it. If it was instituted, I would enlist before I got drafted. Some things are bigger than ourselves.
