There's absolutely nothing wrong with the fact that anyone can still love or even care for someone they loved (even might still be!) who left them, especially if the feelings you've nurtured were deep.Although it may also seem difficult for you if you'd still hope of a possible reconciliation.Nothing is impossible as they say. Anything can happen in just a span of a second. If you're lucky enough and the other person shares the same feelings as you have for him/her, being friends easily opens the doors that at one time, been closed.Still there should be no pressure coming from either sides, for to be together once more, just for the sake of it or if not both parties are willing. If so, it's not a healthy way of starting a relationship once again. And it may end up sadly broken once more. Loving a memory can be difficult because you forget the reason your relationship ended, you also eventually forget all the bad times, and only thinking about all the good times. It is human nature to cling to something that does not exist. If you both feel the same sit down talk about what went wrong in your relationship BUT dont hang onto a *maybe* or *what if*, if it is not going to happen it would be best to let him go. To be friends with a person like this causes you pain, and eventually distrust, yearning and all sorts of emotions, dont self inflict yourself with pain. Let it be if its meant to be it will return

When you really have loved someone you will never forget them, nor will you stop loving them. That person will always be with you and you will realize, just give up and understand that it still hurts, but I'd rather be happy with memories than try to forget the past. Most importantly, don't linger on what you think you did wrong. You can't change whatever took place. Enjoy the memories.

It's not wrong to keep loving someone after they leave. We can't just shut off our feelings like a light bulb. But, being friends with an ex can be a very difficult thing. Are you ready to see him or her with someone else? I never could deal with that. I think it's just better to move on and try to forget. Still painful but easier than seeing them love someone else.

The love you have for someone won't just go away in a day ,it will take time for it to fade away.so it is ok if you still have memories of this person. It all depends on you if you still want to be friends, but be careful that you won't get hurt once again

You have to stay true to your heart, I know its not something that can be controlled and I do not feel that loving and waiting for someone is wrong. If you truly love them and believe in it then the hope and love that lives in your heart for them will never fade. Its a hard place to be in, I am waiting for her to come back though. I truly love her and believe she is the one. I will follow my heart and dreams no matter where they drag me, maybe it makes me a fool but at least I am being honest with myself and keeping faith in the love I feel for her.

people fall in and out of love. That's a fact of life. You can never have too many friends..so take them where you can find them and keep the memory of them in your heart always.
