I'm looking for a quality watch that doesn't require frequent batteries changes and has a reasonable price range.

I don't know if you have a Sears or not but , The name of a good reasonable watch is called Relic. They are made by the same People that make Fossil. Just about 20 or 30 dollars cheaper. I have had no problems with the one I have. I've had mine for three years. They are good durable watches. Most cost from 30 to 100 dollars.

a few years ago i bought a very nice watch. it's a guess. it cost $60-$65. it keeps perfect time. battteries last a couple years. the independent watch guy that i use will change the battery and give it a quick cleaning while i wait. he tells me this is a very nice watch. because it's guess it has great style. ladies always comment. because i'm a guy it needs to be tough; it is. it must have a high quality crystal because it is clear and bright as new. mine is stainless steel and "gold" and the "gold" is still gold. a bit more than a timex, but personally i think it was a great deal. i'd recommend guess.

Look to see if you can read the watch like some watches are barely readable, get a solar powered watch so you won't have to change the batteries.
