Many illegal immigrants get fake social security cards and fake SS numbers of dead US citizens. The SS number is their passage to jobs in America. Unless these companies can spot a fake SS card, I believe it is up to the IRS to red flag these bogus ID's or better yet, why is social security collecting money from their payroll checks from DEAD PEOPLE's social security numbers????

It's all about the money! They know the people are dead they just want the taxes and they won't have to pay out the SS benefits to the illegal. Keep those tax dollars roll'n in. Try to keep SS afloat. Got to pay for our wars you know. Besides who cares? Most of them work at Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Hut, and Wal-Mart. ;)

An illegal can even get a tax ID number to pay their taxes if they don't have an SSN they use.

well why not? when they start working with the fake ss# theyr paying in to the system, its estimated that 3/4 of all illegals pay in to social security, and wont qualify for theyr services , thats just one way illegals are contributing , theyr just slowing theyr ultimate bancruptcy,

yet another reason to support the "fair tax act"... no income tax, just a sales tax, and a 14000 annual deduction.....poor people don't pay taxes on the first 14000 they make. Its a good plan, and nearly eliminates the IRS.
