if you're more concerned about a persons skin tone, rather than whats inside them, their personality or the things you have in common with them, then I suppose it matters.

race can cause problems if other family members don't approve for some reason.

BUT: if you truly care about that person, it shouldn't matter, and you should stay with them.

I am going to say yes, but that doesn't mean you can't/shouldn't date someone of another race.

The main thing that you will encounter is differences in culture and values (totally different upbringings) which can sometimes create problems. Also, religion can be an issue for some people.

I have had two relationships with men of different races than me. It always creates problems here and there, but if the relationship and the feelings are strong, it shouldn't matter.

I would like to say no. but the fact is that yes it does. If it does not matter to the two individuals it will for sure matter to at least one of their friends or family members. It also still matters to society to a certain extent. We are still a relatively racists world and will be for the foreseeable future. The outside pressures make surviving a relationship a little more difficult, some people can make it through and some can't. If your love and commitment to each other is strong enough you will be fine. Go for it!
P.S. Geography also plays a major role in racism. In middle or rural america one might face more scrutiny than on either coast or in a metropolitan area.

Best of Luck

No, love is love no matter where or who it comes from. Besides aren't we all part of the " Human Race " ? My husband is Chinese and I am Caucasian, we have been married for almost 24 years, happily I might add. Sure there were times where our different cultures clashed a little, but our love got us through it and us each learning the others culture made us better people. I say " No " it doesn't matter.

Everything matters when it comes to relationships.

Now how it matters is another story. Should you exclude someone from your life based only on his or her race? I don’t believe so. I have friends of many different races/cultures and find each one has something to teach me and enrich my life.

Race in and of itself would not be counted. regardless of the undeniable fact that 2 human beings of an identical race are extra in all probability to have comparable/shared existence journey and user-friendly social and cultural background to allure to upon as a commencing up for a relationship. a lot of human beings confuse this shared experience of self you will desire to experience with one individual as unfavorable to somebody else of a different race with being racist or prejudiced. that's no longer the case, there have been many learn of all varieties/races of folk. We as human beings are under pressure to opt to circulate at the same time with human beings we hit upon as maximum like ourselves, i.e. belonging to an identical team or tribe returned interior the day. This replaced right into a organic protection that we've not particularly grown out of. in case you may triumph over it super! sturdy luck and with any relationship wait and see be sort.

No. Due to inherent tendencies to strengthen a given genetic line through variation, it is fairly natural to experience strong attractions toward members of the opposite sex in another ethnic or racial group. Of course, certain societal and cultural barriers can exist to such a union, and specific individuals will engage in cross-racial mating to enjoy notoriety or controversy as potential genetic agents provocateur (both ends of the spectrum implied). It may be best to judge the potential of a given cross-racial relationship based on the societal acceptance or rejection of potential offspring from that relationship.

I guess if you're in a relationship with someone, it obviously doesn't matter, unless they're trying to prove something. Then it gets selfish.

Simple one here. Why would it. Relationships are about making you and the one your with happy, and content with each other, not with satisfying, others and their opinions,if its right to you, then its right, just dont let anyone else, judge and base your decision on what they think. Base it on what you and your partner think. Hope this helps. :)
