The worst thing in the world is to lose a child and I am very sorry for your loss and your parents loss.

It is going to take time for your parents to heal but they will never get over your brother's death, however you can do some things to make it easier for them to function.

You can be kind and try to help out at home and listen to them when they want to talk. Do you have siblings besides you brother?

You need to keep your parents involved in your life and try to strive for excellence in all you do to make them proud.

Let them know you love them. Let them know you loved your brother. Let your life continue, but never attempt to "forget" or encourage them to do so. Grief takes time and has many steps. Many people make the mistake of trying to "rush" through the process and the result is undealt with feelings. You never "get over" the loss of a loved one, but you learn to adjust your life and honor their memory. Everyone heals at their own pace. You may be quicker to come to terms with the loss than your parents. Don't ignore the pain, yours or theirs, but be there for them when they need you. Don't be afraid to hug them and tell them you love them. Let them help you if they can. Helping others is one of the best ways to heal, so give them the opportunity to do so if the chance arises. I'm sorry for your loss. Good luck. By the way, don't be afraid or ashamed to get some professional help if you think it would help.

Im sorry for your loss.
Despite it, you can try to keep ur parents active, i mean involve them in some work. Like help around the house and ask for their help. Keep them busy with some, so that their minds can be occupied with something else for a while.
But, time should be given for them to grieve also. That is normal and healthy. They should not bury their feelings completely. Try to talk normally with them, but at certain times, try to share their pain, try to talk to them about it. Try to listen to them. It always good to know that u have and can share ur feelings with someone. SO try to be that person to them. I hope this helped.
