You might be having migraine headache. Try taking over the counter medicine called "Excedrin migraine" It work great for me. If it doesn't work, you tell your parents again that it is serious! Hope you'll feel better soon :-)

I'm no doctor but I think that headaches can origin from bad posture. Make sure you have a good posture when sitting ad walking.
Do you do alot of computer work?
Always rest your eyes for while when you work on computer for a long time.
See that you have a balanced diet. Add less salt and MSG into your food and ask for more Vegetables.
Lastly, sleep well.
If all fails, see a pharmacist or save up to see a doctor.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

my dad gets migranes and stuff every now and then because of the heat, or perhaps by something he may drink. he never used to be able to deal with them, just sleep and take a tylenol.
FINALLY!
there is something my dad uses. He actually works for the pharmaceutical company which makes it, so its free for him.
the prescription medication is called "Relpax" and its made by Pfizer. my dad swears by it. he says if he feels a head ache comming on, he takes it, and its taken care of in like 15 mins. If he has a full blown head ache, it takes the medication 1/2 hour to kill the head ache. its a take-when-needed prescription medication, so u only have to take it when you have the head ache =) i hope that helps!
