westchester has an annual median household income of 77K. i assume that by nyc u mean manhattan. that said, manhattan has a meadian income much bigger (dont know how much exactly but suffolk has a median of 81K, meaning that manhattan must be MUCH higher). again that said, if incomes rise economics tells u prices will go up. if its a linear correlation prices would increase by like 4% in suffolk relative to westchester according to these figures. if manhattan has a much higher income per household expect a 10% premium at least. now, dont expect it to be always linear as a martini in a good manhattan bar will cost u $22 which is MUCH more expensive than anywhere in the nation and has not much to do with median incomes. hope this works!
