Yeah, tell it to the British (1812 burned down our capital) the Canadians (1812 burned down our capital) the Mexicans (Remember the Alamo) the Sioux (little big horn) the Vietnamese, and Bin-Ladin
Seriously power and Glory are not measured by ones ability to hurt others. America is a great country when she lives up to her ideals.

its a true statement, but war is not something to be proud of. we may have the most advanced planes in the sky, most advanced ships in the sea and the most advanced troops on the ground, but we are just doing our job, serving our country, and fighting for freedom. we didnt join to be famous. we didnt join to kick ***. we just want our childrens children to be safe and grow up free like you and i.

The trouble is they end up kicking their own. Now Bush is begging other nations the help him in Iraq and Afghanistan, he's even pleading with Iran and Syria to get him out of this mess. What happened to the axis of evil?

You have been watching too many John Wayne movies.
I'm retired military and proud of it, but you need a serious reality check before you get hurt.

Sounds to me that you're very proud of our military; which all of us should be. No matter where they are around the whole world, they are all out there to try and make a difference.

Not to be disrespectful, but we are at war with one little country and we have been there longer than the time we were involved in WWII. doesn't sound like much of a a** kicking. I don't blame the troops for this. I hold Bush responsible.

You're right. Americans have kicked millions of innocent people's lives.
NOT SOMETHING TO BE PROUD OF.

I would really suggest that you join the army and see reality for yourself.
I have always wanted to join the army but my parents won't allow me T-T.
