This is a serious question. Does an abrams tank have a cd player in it? If not why the hell not? Nothing would beat cruising in the desert at 50 mph listening to house or trance....in an abrams.

Hopefully after i graduate high school i will join the army as a tank crewman. Can i expect to have a cd player?

Of course, with an iPod plug-in for all those stoned mornings while you are blasting the THs, and you just need something to ease the pain until the dope can slip your psyche into gear. How could they not have tunes, dude?

No. The reason is the military spends 60 million dollars on a piece of equipment meant to destroy your enemy and keep you alive, not for you to listen to your favorite tunes. And you can expect to have a cd player, as long as you buy it along with a lot of batteries.

No, you can't even hear the guy yelling in your ear when that thing is going down the road let alone anything resembling music. Maybe some were put together by tank commanders that refer to his crew as his posse and the shoot on the go as a glorified drive by shooting.

I am not sure. I heard that they allow CD players in Abrams tanks. MP3 players are better and more portable.

Good luck in whatever you pursue.

No, they don't. But if you're savvy, you can rig the MCD box up to a portable cd player and listen to music on your CVC helmet. Not recommended for combat ops.

Most guys use ipods or something like it, onboard electronics all have a mission use, although some guys have wired music through their headsets, not wise in combat though
