Hello,
Mike and I are ordained ministers. So I would say you have your wedding anywhere anyone else would. Depending on the weather. If nice out. A beach wedding can be beautiful. Or a wedding by a light house as the sun goes down and the waves slap up against the light house. If you are horse person. Out in the middle of a hay field. Ceremonys of Love can be beautiful anywhere.
Blessings

Where is a good place for a straight wedding? I don't really think being gay has anything to do with the place (except for the church....of course.)

There are alot of churches that donnot approve of gay weddings so they will not perform them. Something outdoors would be ideal,A nice garden or on the beach is good.

I think anyplace that is good for heterosexual wedding is good for a gay wedding (except in some churches bc I think they have some archaic rules or something). It depends upon the couple's tastes. I am a sucker for outdoor cermonies. They can be so beautiful.

If you want a "church" wedding, try the Unitarian Universalists (usually gay-friendly) or MCC (metropolitan COmmunity CHurch-- a gay christian denomination)

Contact interfaith officiants. Nancy is known for her same-sex unions. In fact, she was the officiant in a recent movie about gay & straight marriages.
She will be able to give you any information you might need.

I think anywhere you would have a straight wedding. I am not sure if your church would approve - but why not have it on the beach front.
