Depends on what is causing your sleeping problem. If it is being caused by stress (you lie awake thinking about all the things that are worrying you), set some time aside before you go to sleep to write down everything that is bothering you and possible solutions. Then your brain can feel you have already dedicated the mental energy to these problems. Otherwise, try getting up early, doing exercise (so you will spend more of your energy during the day), having a hot shower before going to bed, drinking chamomile tea, and some visualisation techniques (focussing on a part of the body at a time and imagining it getting heavier etc) Hope some if these help!! :)

Any generic sleep medication should help. Simply sleep is good ( it's a tylenol product, but without the tylenol). Basically anything with dyphenhydramine. 50mg is sufficient. But be sure you have at least 6 hours to dedicate to sleep or you will be super groggy in the am.

there are a lot of little things you can do like don't eat an hour before going to bed or don't use your bed for anything other than sleep so that your body associates your bed as a sleeping only place also if you have a TV or a phone or anything like that in your room take them out - I don't know why or how this works but it does!
