I'm just screwed in the extreme- not literally ( I wish!), but I just cannot seem to get it right with guys. When they like me, all that they seem to want is sex, and I just don't get it. I'm not a skank, I don't dress like one, I'm intelligent, and I'm a great person (I'm not trying to sound stuck-up by the way- sorry y'all if I do!). But whatever it is, commited relaitonships just aren't happening at this point, and I'm getting sick of the spontinaeity. I used to enjoy going out, and just meeting random guys, but now it just feels so stupid. How can I get it right?

For the most part (and there are exceptions here) I'm afraid to say that for the most part that's the number one thing guys want, is just sex, and aren't looking for anything serious.

It isn't really until guys mature that they really think about the love, marriage and growing old together. I'm my case those feelings really didn't hit home 'til I was in my 20's.

Not sure what your religious beliefs are but you might try looking for a spiritual man. Someone who isn't out for sex, but wants to find a connection with you.

Men are wired differently than women. Men are more visual and women more emotional.(Usually, but not always) This is a problem when men have no moral compass, because they just seek physical pleasure. Women get hurt in the process and to be honest the men hurt themselves as well.

I used to pursue women like this. I told myself I was a good guy and I was looking for love. I suppose on some level I was but I had no self control and hurt people in the process.

Hope I am not saying too much, but I don't mind giving you my honest open opinion.

BTW, I am married to a great spiritual woman now and have been a faithful husband for 7 years. Still have emotional scars and memories from the past though.

Its just kind of hit or miss. Guys run into the same problems........damn golddiggers. Just gotta kinda weed out the bad apples. Just keep up and sooner or later youll find a guy with a heart out there who has finally matured enough to want more in a relationship than just sex.

Guys have raging hormones, it's in our blood to wanna procreate, but we have set ourselves to standards of saying No, it's natural, all animals do it, but you must be careful, only do it with someone you know and love, most guys are scared of commitment also, but after a while of dating we warm up to the idea
