easier as long as you realize that your weight will vary (due to water and muscle mass) and not get discouraged. remember as you gain muscle mass, muscle is heavier then fat.

I think it makes it easier.

I advise members of the Kimkins.com diet site to weigh at least twice a week, although I weigh every day.

It's a lot easier to lose a 5 lb creep up than a 15 lb one.

If you're distressed by the scale not moving, then pick a diet that offers quick weight loss. You can see Success Stories at the Kimkins site that are really motivating.

For me it's made it easier, because when I can stay on top of my weight it's much easier to maintain or lose when I see it creeping up. Seeing it in black and white on the scale makes it more difficult to ignore until it's too late.

It should make it easier. In fact, it's suggested to get on the scale weekly and possibly daily to make loosing weight easier.

I weigh myself every morning. I know my body weight fluctates but it keeps me in check and allows me to see my progress over the long term.

Personally, I haven't weighed myself in years! I don't own a set of scales. Never will.

What matters is your BMI (body mass index). And this should be tested for you by a professional (your personal trainer, or physician).
