just wondering... and does that bother you that Osama is apparently still out there?

Terrorism is everywhere. The evil is everywhere. Our focus was not just on Iraq; which is what alot of people seem to think. We are doing alot in Afghanistan, also. And yes, I think alot of people joined because they wanted to go after Osama or just try to DO something that would be of help.

When someone joins the military they do so to accept the mission and values of that branch. One does not join to specifically 'go after Osama". That is a ridiculous notion given that our Armed Forces are huge and encompass many career fields and responsibilities.

My husband is in the Air Force and is proud to serve wherever and whenever he is asked.

Well a lot of people joined right after 9/11. And then got sent to a war that had nothing to do with it. So it's quite possible
