It's like I have passion for something but I haven't found what yet. I go on day to day even-keeled, which is fine but SO boring. Nothing keeps my interest for long. But when I do start to put it into something, whatever it is, it's like it all comes out at once. I have been able to use this in classes before with fantastic results, as I can just pay attention, never study, and breeze through them. It comes from an overactive mind, I think (though it doesn't seem to be by choice; it just happens). Once thoughts about anything start, it's like I can only get 3 of them out before 5 new ones replace them and pretty soon, my head is just swimming and my thoughts are no longer clear, just a jumbled mess. Any ideas?

Hi passionate person!!! : )

I can understand your mindset - me and my son(26 months old) are your kinds. In fact i even get bored of my husband many times coz he just cant keep up with us. We keep looking to do something interesting every day.

My suggestions for you - join different classes but short time ones don't take the longer ones. Try to do and think what you want to do everyday or even better don't think in advance. Think when you are in the situation and see what you can do interesting . If you are at home then try to rearrange your house from top to bottom - or may be one room a day. Try to bring new ideas, experiment with different colors, materials, designs all this but with nothing new - just with whatever you have at home, with you. Take it as a challenge and rake your brain(this is just an example). By doing this you are completely occupied, you are happy with the results and tired for the day and this is just for a day and tomorrow you need to think again something new and innovative.
You can try different things at all the places and at any time. If you are bored try playing memory games, try to play with words and see how you can link those words to any activity or even try your hand in writing something using those words.
Look around. Have your eyes and ears wide open and keep searching for "what i can do next with what is available around me"That should be your challenge.
Happy inventing!!!

This sounds pretty normal. Though you may not know anyone that goes through this, this sounds like the mind of any good artist. I have a friend who is a musician and it sounds like the same thing. He drives his wife crazy with not being able to keep on topic. He'll have five things going on at the same time, and it causes him to be forgetful too. Simple things, like forgetting to put sugar in tea when he makes it and similar things. This is good though, whenever you find out what your passion is, you'll be awesome at it.

It is normal to be worried. Only when it is excessive should you seek medical help. Highly educated technological people have been known to be worried when they put on a simple raincoat. They are worried that the chemicals used might not be in the right proportions and the process of making the raincoat might be flawed. Therefore the raincoat may be leaking. Ordinarily people would not have second thoughts when they put on a raincoat.

You just described me when I was 15-25 years old. Then I had kids and don't have the time to think like I used to. I wouldn't be worried though because someday something will grab your attention and keep it and whatever it is you'll be damn good at it.
