Mike,
Your are feeling God tugging at your heart. You want to quit, but you have got to let God help you. No one can do anything without God's help. Ask him. Lean on Him.
It will be the hardest thing you have ever done in your life (probably) but you can do it. Your children should be your inspiration, if nothing else. I will pray that the chains of addiction release you soon and set you free. Start right now by giving Thanks to our glorious Father. Mike ask for the Father's help and mean it with all your heart. He will be there for you.

Sure, I'm pray for you Mike, I also want to tell you something. If you can quite for a day, then you can quite for a lifetime. I believe that with all my heart. I will pray that you will have the strength to go through this difficult time and to have faith in the Lord to know he is there for you always. May God Bless you. : )

Dear Lord, I lift Mike up to you right now and pray that you would free him from his addiction. I pray that you would put the people and events in place to make this possible. Whenever he craves that drug Lord I ask that you would give him the power to turn away. I also pray for his children, that you would touch them and that all in Mikes family would always feel your peace and presence. In your name Jesus, Amen.

I will keep praying this for you Mike. Please never give up as each attempt is one step closer to freedom :-)

Dear Mark I will remember you in my prayers but in this matter the only way you can stop doing these things is by your earnest effort and by loving God before your smoking and to show your seriousnes you have to be praying for yourself,I want to let you know that I do understand your plight, and how hard it is for you to stop, but you can pray for help to the true God Jehovah If you really are serious Jehovah will help you but ofcourse you have to ask him and mean it, in other words you have to pray for his help when you feel the urge to smoke not after you did it, it is pointles praying then going ahead with smoking true you may feel guilty for doing it but it will also make you feel that you pay by guild yet that is not the way to get help or to quitI know all about quiting smoking I habve done it tooand when I was smoking cigarettes. I fell in that trap of praying after the action untill I realised that was not the way to stop then I also couldn't even imagine life without smoking but i finally got serious, an d now I have been living smoke free for 25 years. I did it with Jehovah's helpbecause I Prayed at the right times in the end and that's when he saw that I became serious about my wish to stop, I know and it was not an easy task because ewell nearly every where you look people are smoking and the temptation is always there, so to boost you chances you need to keep out of places where you would be in the surounding of smokers find some people who do not do such things it will make it easier to resist, but you also need to resign yourself to make your mind up to do it, and even maybe set a date when you want to begin this task then stick to it think of your children toodo it for them but most op all do it for you! you can do it you just have to become serious about it and pray to Jehovah constantly and he will give you the strength, and reward your efforts to boot, remember stick to your resolve you will be able to do it if you really want to. you have my word I will pray for youbut you have to want to do it noone can do it for you if that was possible I woyould do it for youbut I can't sorry all I can do is pray and hope that you willrid yourself of this demon, you don't know how much better it will be for you and your familyplz keep me informed on your progress dudess@dodo.com.au Keep trying you can do it

Mike, we have been praying for you and your family. I tried to email you, but didn't get a response. Take Care. Vicki

p.s. remember to pray that the Holy Spirit deliver you from the desire, and need. To fill you with Him, and live powerfully in Christ.

May the Lord have mercy on you, Mike, and help you and your children.

"Lord, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, have mercy upon me a sinner!"

Are you near Cincinnati? Perhaps you could talk to Father Steven at my church:

I will. I live in Florida, so I'm far away from you.

Have you sought help from resources there in Oh?

You're asking for Christian prayer, so I assume you're a member of a Christian church? It is important that you care for your kids. I know you love them, but you're struggling with your addiction problems. They have to be fed, clothed, have shelter, etc. A church can help you with that if you're sincere is tackling your addiction.

I'll pray for you, but you may need more than prayer. You may need hands on help. Can you seek it in your area? Edit your question to respond.

Mike God helps those who help themselves. We are responsible for all of our actions despite our circumstances. I am not trying to be judgmental but I just think that you need to realize that all the prayer in the world will not be what saves you. You must save your self.

I will and I truly wish you the very best. I was in prison for 15 years and I knew a lot of people there for drugs. It all leads to one place---sorrow and despair. God bless you Mike. I have no idea how to tackle the problem. You do, however, have things in the proper perspective.

I hope you find a way out and find a peace of mind someday. It might be hard but try to get out of it by other ways than just asking for us to pray for you. I mean no offense in the harshness of my words but please speak to someone. See a counselor and try to tell your children that you are sick. Ask them to understand if your not well sometimes that you still care for them. I strongly recommend you going to rehabilitation and therapy. God speed.
