I could give you the same old answer to this question. But instead I will tell you they are all in God and they are all God.
God the father is spirit and Glorius light. God the son came froth out of the Father to redeem mankind from Sin. He is the redeeming agence of the spirit of GOD. Know as the only begotton son of GOD the Father. The Holy Spirit is the same spirit that walked on the earth with the prophets of old. He is also the chief agent over salvation and the gifts of God and is the teacher of the faithful. We are redeemed by the Spirit of Jesus Christ and we are taught be the Holy Spirit. We are redeemed to the Father who is our GOD via the gift of grace thru his sons obidence. These three are 1 spirit. Know as the God head. There are also more parts to Gods spirit but the church does not speak about that much study chapter7 & 11 of isa.

The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost make up the Holy Spirit, or the Holy Trinity. This is the most important part of Christianity- what the entire religion is based on. The Father is God, the Son is Jesus, and the Holy Ghost is the spirit. They come together to make the Holy Spirit, but really they are all the same thing. This is a way of sewing the separated parts into one undersstandable thing. God is Jesus, and Jesus is God, and both of them are the Holy Spirit.
The significance? Well, it's the most significant thing you can possibly come up with.

The significance is that there is ONE GOD, the Creator of this Universe -- of course, some people believe that God does not exist; therefore the Universe does not exist since it was not created.
There is ONE GOD, who has revealed that He eternally exists as three "Persons"; Father, Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit.
The relationship between the Father and the Son is NOT a relationship because of sperm.
Rather, the relationship between the 1st and 2nd Persons of the Trinity are described as the perfect relationship between a father and his son. An attempt by God to explain it to us with finite minds.

The Father is Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) and he is the sovereign of the universe. The son is Jesus Christ who was the firstborn of all creation (Colossians 1:15) and because he was created as a spiritual being and came to earth as a human to teach us about his God and Father, Jehovah and then he sacrificed his perfect human life on our behalf, he has become the only way that humans can be reconsiled to the Father. He (Jesus) is the only mediator between God and man. The holy spirit is God's active force which he uses to create, to demonstrate his power and to convey understanding (through Jesus). We can pray to the Father through Jesus for holy spirit to help us to understand the scriptures and he will grant us our request.

that is the mystery of the Holy Trinity.
The Father is the One who elects the saints (1 Pet.1:2); who love us (Jn. 3:16); and givi good gifts (James 1:17)
The Son is the One wgo suffers (Marrk 8:31); who redeems (1 Pet. 1:18-18); upholds all things (Heb. 1:3)
The Holy Spirit is the Who regenerates (Titus 3:5); who energinizes (Acts 1:8); and sanctifies (2Cor. 3:18)
In the Bible you can not find the word Trinity it is only a Theological word but the Bible itself proves the Trinity ( 2 Cor. 13:14; Matthew 28:19; Gen. 1:26).
TRINITY is one only true God; but in the unity of the Godhead there are 3 co-eternal and co-equal persons the same in substance; but distinct in subsistence.

They are totally significant. Without them, you wouldn't be here. They made you, the world, everything there ever was. They are 3 parts of a complete unit (God)
Just like a man and wife are one - so God the Father, His Son and Holy Spirit are one.

I am no authority, but to me, the Father is God who created everything and runs everything via circumstances He either creates or allows. The Holy Spirit is God's Spirit inside the person that gives the feelings of right or wrong, moral or immoral and etc. Jesus was God's Son sent to this miserable planet to save the human race from spending an eternity apart from God and Heaven. These are pretty aloof and hard-to-fathom concepts but it is the way I see them.

The father =God, The son =Jesus and the holy spirit =Him, the holy spirit.
When you make the sign of the cross you say in the name of the father the son and the holy spirit, the sign of the cross is made by starting with your right hand at your forehead, move downward to your chest, then from your left shoulder to your right shoulder, it is in respect to our father and the creator of heaven and earth...GOD!!

100% insignificant to reality.
‘Christ according to the faith, is the second person in the Trinity, the Father being the first and the holy Ghost the third. Each of these three persons is God. Christ is his own father and his own son. The Holy Ghost is neither father nor son, but both. The son was begotten by the father, but existed before he was begotten--just the same before as after. Christ is just as old as his father, and the father is just as young as his son. The Holy Ghost proceeded from the Father and Son, but was an equal to the Father and Son before he proceeded, that is to say before he existed, but he is of the same age as the other two. Nothing ever was, nothing ever can be more perfectly idiotic and absurd than the dogma of the Trinity.’
