Actually, it all depends on each persons particular tastes. As a home-brewer, I use sugar during the lagering process. The yeast first cooks on the ingredients during the fermentation process but then cooks on the sugar after I add it to create the "fizz" while it lagers in the bottle. I make several different fruit beers and all of these have natural sugars in them plus what I add for the lagering.

Yeah Do it If you want allot of foam. I only know this cause I tried to add sugar to a batch of homebrew that would not carbonate. Most beer is bitter to balance out all the un fermented sugars. Believe me beer would suck without hops. But you could try some fruit flavored beer or honey beer, they are usually less hopped and sweeter

I don't think that will be very good but put in a slice of lemon, that works. If you want to make a drink that very popular down South make a Red Eye which is a pint of beer into which you pour half a small can of tomato juice and keep adding the tomato juice until you empty the can. Sounds gross and it took me a long time to get up the guts to risk screwing up two great drinks but surprisingly, it does taste good..

I think a maraschino cherry with some of the juice in a corona is good.
If you don't have sugar, try that and it will add a little sweetness

not so much, however in a pinch if your beer is flat you can add a few grains of salt and it will refreshen it.
