Our focus is supposed to be on winning the peace for good. What is with all the distractions?

Note, not all Democrats are liberals. There are liberals in the Republican party.

Because libs are cowards. They would rather send troops as an international "Meals on Wheels" brigade to countries that do not threaten us as opposed to sending troops to kick clinton in a country that does threaten us. They feel that feeding the hungry is a better investment for the safety of our country than to kill the thugs who really do threaten us. They have it 100% bassackwards, as usual.

I think to win in Iraq, we may just have to kill everyone there. Not an option. And right now, the violence is not directed at coalition troops but and fellow Muslims. Who are the enemies? Osama is but Bush made that a sideshow (which is getting more dangerous).

The problem is Bush has no plan! His initial plan, of flowers and tears of happiness from the Iraqi people just never happened. Now it's hell. Conservatives and liberals alike don't know how to get out of this. Bush has put us and thousands of troops in a terrible situation.

Tell us how to find peace for good there...

You assume our enemies will take us heavily if we live as aim prepare for them. A 3 hundred and sixty 5 days in the past or extra that it might have made experience to declare that, now, with little help from everybody left interior the rustic, and Saddam out of the image, and the Iraqis proving to be the slowest freshmen of all time, we ought to stand the certainty that we are the middlemen in a civil sectarian conflict. It take us no longer provide up 2 months for person-friendly coaching right here, policemen get with regard to the comparable, its been 2 years for them and that they nonetheless won't be able to shelter themselves. it incredibly is putting the final plausible face on it. Our victory must be in removing Saddam, and in getting Qsama, if we've been given Osama, we'd go a protracted way in triumphing some admire. So the respond on your question is that if we decrease and run, we could have the comparable loss of admire now we've that we live and die. you choose admire? provide them a clean dictatorship, its the only ingredient they understand.

Here is the sad, sad truth. Liberals have no intention to win this war. They have a defeatist attitude. A victory for liberals is losing this war in Iraq so they can stand up and proudly say to the nation "I told you so!". This is their victory, this is their pride. Being able to look down at their country, defeated in a war, and laugh because they we lost, simply to say "we told you so". Its sick, its sad, is disgusting on all levels, but their hatred for GWB has surpassed any supposed patriotism, and turned into a hatred for their own country. Sad times we live in, but what can we do?

Well, to answer this question, you're going to have to define "enemies." Are you calling the Iraqis our enemies? Because I was told that we were in there to help them. At this point, most of the rest of the world is our enemy because we have have overstepped so many bounds here. That's why liberals want to "cut and run"- because we realize that we're making things even worse than when we started and are ready to own up to our mistakes and have the middle east come to peace on its own- the only possible way.

The election rhetoric is over. let's see what happens. Sen Levin is already waffling. Democrats have always been fantastic at waging war. Once they are briefed we will probably get more money and a Long term commitment for redeployment, meaning we will stay the course with more money spent than ever before.

who are our enemies??? it certainly wasn't Iraq at the time of the invasion. We were attacked by terrorists, not Iraq. The so called "insurgents" are killing more Iraqis than U.S. troops.

There are terrorists located all over the world. They are our enemies. They need to be tracked down and taken out. The war in Iraq has weakened our ability to do this.

Liberals want to fight the "real war" on terror , not the "for profit war" in Iraq.

We are focusing on defeating our enemies. It is just that you poor bamboozled Fox News fans have no idea that the true enemy of this country is the fascists that are taking away our rights, creating the largest, most centralized, and most expensive government in the history of this nation. And while they are sending our children to a foreign land to become murderers, and to be killed for their profit margin, they are laughing at you dimwitted so called patriots.

You know, in the days of John F. Kennedy, being a liberal was a GOOD thing. Now, most who are libs at heart CALL themselves "independents".

Libs, was it not Democratic President John F. Kennedy who said that we should be willing to "go anywhere, do anything, bear any cost to defeat the enemies of liberty.."? Have you forgotten that?

Iraq is not a failure until we cut and run... So yeah, libs want a failure. I'd expect nothing less of the "blame America first" crowd.

why is it that conservatives cut and run from Osama?

is he not the "enemy" as you say?

we're in Iraq... while the guy in charge of the organization that hit us on 9-11 is who knows where?

and why does no one care that we CLEARLY gave Osama a pass?

our focus is SUPPOSED to be bringing those responsible for 9-11 to JUSTICE... what is with all the distractions in Iraq?

Maybe they're tired of feeding our sons and daughters into this quagmire of a meat-grinder called "Operation Bush-Flub?"

And as the smarter, more charismatic President Clinton said on Election Night eve (you rememember, the night the GOP lost Congress): "There's a difference between "cut and run" and "STOP AND THINK".

The applause was tremendous. The best Bush could do was recline in his Oval Office and say, "Bring it on!" -- which he doesn't repeat anymore -- and then, "Stay the course!" which he conveniently stopped saying before November.

It'd be funny if it weren't more tragic.
