We can we just aren't a very good job doing it. But, I think the tide is turning on the Illegals. Just this week in a ONE county in No.Carolina they deported 940 illegal felons.
More American speak up and get mad things will get done.
I have been involved with illegal immigration problems for 15 yrs. when nobody thought it was a problems now it has become an epidemic and American now are slowly waking up and getting involved.
It is now becoming a national security problem.

It amazes me that we do deport legals whose cards have expired, though they have been paying taxes and are acting like productive citizens, BUT we allow the criminal element A*K*A* illegal immigrants to do as they damn well please. Somebody tell me why this is. I see them in my area everyday, blocks from my home, standing on the corner waiting for some SOB, who cares nothing for this country, to hire them. They should not only have INS picking them up, but the police arresting these skank employers who are hiring them. No skank employers-no work- they go elsewhere. Where is our government support- local or Federal- when we are begging to not be victims of the crime that also follows this segment of society. I'm tired of fearing to walk out of my home, or out of the store, bank, ect. I carry a lead breaker bar on the floorboard next to me. Been attack once and threatened too many times to count. Don't bother with the cops anymore. They can't or won't put an end to this, because it might be considered racially motivated. Maybe the boys in Arizona have it right!

Mexico wants it both ways. Yes they sure do enforce its immigration laws. But if we do, then we are unhuman, we do not care for human rights of the poor, just looking for a better life. ( but take note that Mexico does not say anything about Mexico taking care of its own poor. For Mexico it comes down to $$$$$$$$$$, if we deport all illegal immigrants, Mexico gets less, but if we grant amnesty, Mexicos $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ gos way up. So for them, if we grant any amnesty, its a win win, for Mexico.

This whole issue's focus is not about deportation. That is only one facet of the problem.
U.S. priority should first be to achieve absolute border control. Afterwards we can deal with locating the lawbreaking foreign nationals who managed to sneak into our country.
Border control can be achieved by returning our troops from ALL foreign countries. We can then station them, within a few feet of each other, around our entire border
At this point, the deportations can begin.
OUR REVOLVING-DOOR BORDER MUST BE SEALED.

mexico can deport because there arent nearly as much whites going there as we in america have illegal mexicans everywhere. The kids at my school were rioting about it (of course while they yelled viva mexico me and my friends yelled viva jamaice) and the cops showed up. The mexicans dont understand that when we fought them we were fighting for independence not land and its fairly our land. They seem to get away with everything anyway so really the systems to screwed up to get away with this.

We can, we have done (Eisenhower did it very successfully), we do, but not nearly enough .. we need a government with something resembling a spine and a bit of resolution, not to mention a bit of patriotism ... after all, they're supposed to represent the AMERICAN people, or did I get that wrong??
