I am not trying to lose weight just trying to tone up. I am 5'5'' and 125lbs. I usually would stay fit by swimming but I got rid of my pool in June. So I am not as tone as I used to be and I want to tone a little for a trip I am taking in Feb. I am thinking about doing 12 30minute personal training sessions. That is all I can afford. Would that help? Would I see a difference?

That should help quite a bit as long as you keep up the training between sessions. And concentrate more on strength training than cardio for the affect you are looking for. Make sure you include the proper amount of protein in your diet too.
Good Luck!!

Why don't you walk or hike or bike, those are free and a great workout. In fact, walking and hiking are they best because they are a total body exercise that is easy on parts normally affected by jogging or other exercises.

Usually, it takes between 2-3 months to see a drastic difference. But, you are only 125, you sound in shape so there shouldn't be any drastic difference, just better tone.
