why is evoking or invoking a spirit dangerous?

It's no more dangerous than punching pins into a voodoo doll, breaking a mirror, stepping on a side-walk crack, or walking under a ladder. Your invoking simple superstition.

to evoke evil spirits is to ask Satan to communicate with you by mental telepathy. Ever since Hell was condemned, after the crucifiction, the COG (Council of Government) in Heaven did away with Hell, and took away Satan's ability to touch you. Satan's only power is to give you his sales pitch to be disharmonious.

Now to evoke the holy spirit:

It isn't dangerous. Is electricity dangerous? The electricians will tell you yes, so that you will hire them at $50 per hour. If you throw the circuit breaker, and then test the outlet, and test the line with a 99 cent line tester (2 wires and a tiny light bulb) then you can install or repair most of your own electrical outlets

Now back to evoking the spirit:

Take precautions, Don't let a weak person try to catch you when you fall back. In fact you don't really need to fall back. Just find a quiet place and meditate with a great deal of harmony in your heart.

Jesus told his disciples to make sure they had forgiven everyone for everything before they should evoke the spirtit for healing others.

I evoke spirits all the time and I have not been possessed and I have not released an evil being into the world. Everyone is free to believe what they want to believe ... spirits do exist and they do make contact with us everyday. One saved my life!!!

I've seen some spirits attack people, its not a pretty scene... I know there are people that don't believe in ghosts and such, but I've seen quite a few, they come and go... As a buddhist, you learn about how one would even become a ghost, and its through their attachment to body and worldly objects, greed basically.. the ones I've met are pretty friendly, since i'm next to a hospital, but ghost hunters want to go to murder sites, and try to take pictures of them, thats stupid, its invasion of the spirits area... its asking for trouble... Now, whether these ghosts are real, or if they're figments of the minds, i can't really say, but what i've seen, appeared very clear... Many of the famous scientists believed ghosts did exist, Jung and Einstein did... They just viewed it in a scientific view...


I don't know why som try to talk about jesus, this is a question about spirits/ghosts, not christianity...

I beleive it's dangerous because the spirit you want to invoke could be a demon posing as him/her. Meaning that a demon uses thier voice or image or whatever to pretend to be this spirit and then there are unwanted doors opened to you from the demons.

Frankly, it's simply because God told us not to do it. Those spirits that you are invoking are real. But they are demons. Satan is the king of lies, the inventor of lies, the top liar, etc. He will lie to you through the 1/3 of the angles that fled with him from heaven.

I know you can't see if, but all around you, there is warfare being waged. Good and evil. Angels and Demons are fighting... perhaps right behind you as you read this.

The demons seek to mislead you. The angles, to prevent the demons from doing so.

Anyway, read your bible and you'll understand why you should avoid the spirits, divination, horoscopes, etc.

I don't think there is a danger in learning of this subject...some people say it exists, others do not...yet neither can provide conclusive proof one way or the other.....this is a subject humanity lacks understanding of in great measure...therefore it is something that we are incapable of changing drastically proving little danger or risk...

It is dangerous because the source is bad. Many people will tell you its not but it is, when People die they are no longer able to return what you see as Ghosts are demons impersonating whom ever you are wanting to talk with.
