Yes. The BIBLE says, "Do not forsake the assembling(Church) of yourselves together." Also when CHRIST returns HE will be coming to get HIS bride, the Church.

As a social institution, it's highly relevant. It promotes a mythology that has at best mixed results and at worst promotes profound hatred among the general populace. It is a rare congregation that does not succumb to the temptation to give into self-righteous demagoguery.

church is just a gathering of Gods people to relate, help with one anothers burdens, pray for one another, and gather strength from one another all while praising and to worship God!
