jogging is a great cardio exercise to stay fit and keep in shape . But its also hard on the knees and other joints. A lot of joggers (including myself) have this problem after a few years. Walking is actually better in the long run. In fact fast walking especially on a slightly inclined surface can burn just as much fat as jogging on a flat surface. I find it more enjoyable too.

yup, jogging is better than walking. it's good to jog for like 20-30 mins for a start. if you do it everyday, you'll get used to it and you'll jog longer than that. it's a really good way to exercise and lose weight. it would be nice to also jog while listening to music on your iPod or something, just to make you feel good while jogging. it's like you're in your own world having a good time.:) hmm, but don't forget to have a few warm-ups/stretching before and after just so your muscles won't feel so bad after. also, after jogging, don't sit down or lie down immediately. take time to walk around a bit or stand up to take deep breaths. you might get dizzy and sorta black-out a bit if you sit down quickly after.
have fun jogging!:)

depends how fast you walk. if you can speed walk, like 4.5 to 4.7 mph, at a steady pace for a long enough time, theyre the same. otherwise jogging is better.

Any sort of physical activity is good as long as it suits your body. I prefer walk and run together.
