How large is large? Some folks call anything over 50 pounds "large." For me that's average:)
Here is a page that lists dogs by height and weight. Page down past the introduction and you'll find dogs grouped by weight--such as 51-80 pounds.

Get a copy of Dogworld magazine or go to www.akc.org/breeds/index.cfm This is the web site for the American Kennel Club. It has info about all of the breeds recognized by it's registry.
