I just purchased a handycam DCR-DVD105 and the sony DVD-R disk (it's really small) It won't show up on my computer. I go into the D Drive and nothing's there even though I've already recorded on it. I'm on a windows XP home edition cicero with a DVD/CD rom drive
Any suggestions?

you need to finalize the disc in the camcorder before it can be "seen" by your computer.

well its possible that u got the wrong disc like maybe its supposed to be a dvd+r or dvd-rw or something look at the instructions for the camera and it should tell u exactly which disc is the correct disc for the camera it might be a dvd-r probably thats the most common format or whatever u call it or maybe u didnt finalize it thats very important to do otherwise u cant play it on anything so make sure u finalized it on the camera after u were done recording hope this helps :)
