You need to see a dentist as soon as possible. you likely have an infection...which can spread and cause systemic illness and symptoms. Iyou do not have a regular dentist, get a referral from family or friend, call and tell them you are in severe pain and may have an infection. Tell them you do not have insurance and ask if you can work out a payment plan. E.R. would be much more expensive and they would refer you to a dentist. Wish you the best.

I cannot speak for the fainting, but as far as the fever, neck, face and ear pain/pressure-yes. I had a bone infection due to an abscess and it was unbearable and I had to go to the dentist at 11:00 pm (emergency visit). Once he opened up the abscess and put me on an antibiotic I was feeling 75% better within 24 hours (I was a little sore from the dental work, only). This can be VERY serious because the infection had gotten into my blood stream and I could have ended up in the hospital if I had not gone to the dentist as early as I did, much less the pain that I would have endured hoping that it would go away. I feel for you, take care of it ASAP.

Yes, you need an extraction.. if money is an issue, that rules out a root canal and such to save th tooth.
You may be able to take antibiotics, which will "knock down" the infection until you can save up a few weeks for the extraction.
A dentst would be the best person to determine the extent of the intfection and gauge what meds would be best.
Yes, the infection can cause all that and worse. Given enough time, it can swell up to the point that it closes your airway, for example. Then you'd end up in the ER needing IV antibiotics and that is obviously more expensive, so get to the dentist.
Perhaps your employer will help out; It sounds like they're concerned so maybe they can front you the cost of the visit.

If you have an abcess tooth, it can be a very dangerous situation. Once, I had a tooth that had abcessed(infected). My lymph glands swelled up on the side of my neck where the infection was, I was very lethargic, and I hurt pretty much all over.
So, yes....those could be how you're showing symptoms of your 'dental infection'. Which, is likely an abcess tooth.
You should go see a doctor and get some antibiotics, then see a dentist and get it fixe before it gets worse.
Good Luck...I hope you feel better.

The headache, low grade fever, neck pain and eye pressure are consistant with a sinus infection. I would go see the doc and he can help you get to the bottom of this. This could also be causing some of your tooth pain too.

sugar...when you are fainting, things are serious. could be several things. are you taking an antibiotic, i sure hope so. if not you may be infected all over your body (septic). this is a maybe. teeth pain/pressure can cause fatigue, dizziness, ears ringing, h/a, eye pressure due to the sinus pressure caused by the swelling of your gums. makes sense? i am not a doctor. a round of antibiotics should ease all symptoms. if you are taking an antibiotic, call your dentist for a different prescription, this should not cost you any xtra with the dentist, just paying for the new antibiotics. good luck..

Yes I had an infected tooth and I had all of the above and nausea. Plus my mood was so soured by the thought of food or being in public I was in so much freakin pain!!! I did swish peroxide in my mouth and called my dentist. She looked at it and said she couldn't pull it until I did 5 days of antibiotics. YIKES!!!!!
I thought I was gonna die but after the 2nd day on antibiotics and Darvocets I was able to withsatnd the pain a little better. I continued to swish with peroxide and that also helped get rid of the germs. Needless to say I got the tooth pulled.
Thank God!! I felt like the lion with a splinter in her toe, I was so thankful after it was gone the dentist showed me the tooth and said "that had to be painful". It was the only tooth I ever got pulled but it only lasted about a minute and a half.
And it cost $60. dollars for an extraction.
Best of luck to you. Hope you feel better soon. You might want to try some ambesol too. I also used that for the 2 days on antibiotics.

In short Yes.
An infected tooth/abcess is just like any other infection and it can get serious, and you treat them the same way as any other infection, with antibiotics.
And it was a dental emergency back when you broke your tooth.
all of your symptoms are common for a bad tooth infection. Remember that your ear nose and throat are all connected through the sinus cavity, so something wrong with one can affect all of them.
I know this b/c I have seen a broken molar.
