we've only been going out for like 2 months, but we've been friends for the past 4 years and i wanna get her something really special be4 we leave for college. money's not that big of an issue. I was thinking some tiffanys jewelry or something, but I'm not sure if she would go for something expensive or extravagant like that, any ideas? she's really into art and painting, and pretty outdoorsy, but I just wanted some alternatives in case jewelry is not the way to go. but if tiffanys is the way, let me know to. also if anyone has any ideas on a nice romantic gesture to give the gift to her lemme know. i have some ideas, but i could always use some help.

if she loves to paint take on a trip to a beautiful sight and arrange a picnic for her and keep all the painting supplies their then take her their and let her bask in the beauty and let her paint the beauty she sees (for example take her to a place with a gret view of like the northern lights or a sunset/sunrise or the mon or the ocean and keep all the suplies there) oh! and by her all new painting supplies and make sure she takes them home to paint you pictures and give them to you while your in college

If you've only been dating for 2 months, a really expensive gift is inappropriate and/or off putting. If you wnat to get her something special, why not get her something from your heart instead. If she's into art/painting, why not get her a really classy book on one of her favorite artists, or buy a romantic poetry book that you both can enjoy. It's not always about how much you spend

If you go the Tiffany's route (which is very nice), I would choose one of their pendant necklaces, not necessarily the big chunky chains.... they're getting a little 'tired'... because they're everywhere. Go to the Tiffany's site & look at the 'silver jewelry'... there's some really pretty necklaces ... one has an open heart shape that's very feminine & pretty ... :) Merry Christmas.

A good studio portrait of the two of you. Last a lifetime. Include a movie and dinner. Jewelry is for when you get serious.

And PS, after marriage, jewelry works the best.
I have been married for 30 years and I buy her jewelry every year.
No tiffany's. Sears, Walmart, K Mart and Target. and she LOVES all the jewelry I bought for her.
