Well-seasoned cast-iron pan, as long as you take care of it.
Never wash the pan, just scrape it and rinse it. Don't worry about germs, grease has a natural cleaning agent in it. Make sure you scrape and rinse the pan immediately, or rust will form on the pan. Sometimes you can scrub the rust off, but usually if it's rusted once, it's done.

18/10 stainless is the best. It lasts forever and it is not harmful to you like cephalon which is aluminum, and iron or Teflon cookware. Aluminum, iron, and Teflon also alter the flavor in a less desirable way. You can find some less expensive brands, like "wearever", that I have and is great, but the best is Berghoff.
I have that too.
It is so good that you don't need any cooking oil! Both brands of 18/10 stainless give better flavor to food and therefore, as their commercial states, I eat less and enjoy it more. It lasts forever. Cooking with Iron and aluminum is harmful to your health. The metal gets into your body as does Teflon, which never breaks down once inside you.
Berghoff cooks food in 1/3 the time as well. In the long run it is cheaper, especially since you only have one body, and you better take care of it because....where else are you gonna live?

You can make any stanless steel or aluminum pan nonstick by boiling white vinegar in it for 15 -20 seconds. It will last through about 10 washings.

Believe it or not, a well seasoned cast iron pan is your best bang for the buck. Fry a lots of bacon to season the pan, wipe with a clean cloth and you can fry eggs with no sticking!! Plus the pan will last forever as opposed to a non-stick pan!!
