No, the whole "hard to get" is one of the more annoying of your gender's mind-games. Don't do it.

Playing hard to get is as personal as the relationship itself. On one hand, its a game and if your not careful, YOU might be the one getting played. Being too easy isn't always the way either.
Best advice I can give you is "talk and listen". If your interested in the guy, "Why play any games at all?" You can be available, (ie. Approachable) without throwing yourself at his feet. Playing hard to get is really silly, because you're showing little insight into who he is and where you want the relationship to go. Be a friend before a lover. Show you do have an interest and he'll make you just as happy as you make him. Truth. Caz

i hate hate hate hate it. and i thought i was alone on this. alot of guys hate it too. i dont think any woman whose ever played hard to get in the entire world has done this: put yourself in the man's/boy's shoes! how would you feel if you were strung along like a dog on a leash? no man wants to feel like that. no one wants to feel like that. this is a very big misconception among females that needs to be erased. if you're gonna like the guy, like him, dont play with him. what you're really doing is confusing his feelings and thats mean and wrong.

No. Do you like it when we ask you to marry us and follow it up with "just kidding"? We like it when girls are honest, confident and competent. Since I don't know how old you are, I'll leave it at that.
